Terms and Conditions

These Terms govern access to the Heirloom Watch Co. website and transactions completed through or in connection with our business. Use of the website or our transaction services is subject to the provisions set out below.

Payments & Billing

Unless a product listing specifies a different currency, prices shown by Heirloom Watch Co. are denominated in U.S. dollars.

The full purchase price and any applicable charges must be paid as part of completing an order. We accept major credit cards and wire transfers. Credit-card purchases may be subject to an additional processing fee, which will be disclosed before payment is completed.

Customers must ensure that the billing, contact, and account details supplied in connection with a transaction are correct and sufficient for us to process and verify the purchase. We may contact you or request additional information when necessary to verify a transaction.

For security purposes, credit-card orders may not be released for shipment until the payment has been fully authorized, processed, and settled by the applicable financial institution. An authorization alone does not necessarily constitute final payment.

Heirloom Watch Co. may pause, reject, or cancel a transaction if we are unable to confirm payment or if we reasonably determine that further verification is needed before proceeding.

Orders & Transaction Verification

Submitting an order through our website does not necessarily mean that the order has been accepted. Orders may be reviewed for payment, identity, security, inventory, and other transaction-related requirements before Heirloom Watch Co. confirms and fulfills the purchase.

Heirloom Watch Co. may decline, cancel, delay, or impose reasonable restrictions on a transaction when information available to us raises concerns regarding fraud, payment authorization, identity, inaccurate transaction information, or the security of the transaction.

Purchases intended for commercial resale or other unauthorized commercial distribution may require our prior approval. Heirloom Watch Co. may limit or decline transactions that we reasonably determine are being made for those purposes without such approval.

If an order is cancelled after payment has been received, any applicable refund will be handled through the original payment method or another appropriate method determined by Heirloom Watch Co., subject to applicable law and the circumstances of the transaction.

Shipping and Delivery

Once applicable payment and transaction-verification requirements have been completed, Heirloom Watch Co. ordinarily begins fulfillment promptly and aims to have orders ready for shipment by the following business day.

Any arrival date or transit period provided in connection with an order is an estimate. The actual timing of a shipment can be affected by its destination, the transportation service used, customs procedures, weather or transportation disruptions, characteristics of the particular watch, and circumstances beyond our reasonable ability to control.

Customers are responsible for providing complete and accurate shipping information. Heirloom Watch Co. is not responsible for delays or delivery problems resulting from incorrect or incomplete information supplied by the customer.

For high-value shipments, we may require a signature upon delivery or use additional security measures at our discretion.

Authentication

Every watch offered for sale by Heirloom Watch Co. undergoes an authentication process conducted by an established watch authentication professional or service selected by Heirloom Watch Co.

Authentication is intended to evaluate the authenticity of the timepiece based on the information and components available for examination. Authentication does not necessarily constitute a representation that every individual component is original to the watch, that the watch has never been serviced or modified, or that the watch retains every component originally supplied by the manufacturer, unless expressly stated in the applicable product description.

When a customer submits a watch to Heirloom Watch Co. for purchase consideration, the watch may be inspected and authenticated before any purchase funds are released.

Payment to the seller is generally initiated within one business day after the authentication process has been completed and the transaction has been approved, subject to receipt of accurate payment information and completion of any necessary verification.

We may decline to purchase a watch if it does not satisfy our authentication, condition, ownership, compliance, or other transaction requirements.

Watches Submitted for Purchase

By submitting a watch to Heirloom Watch Co., you represent that you have the legal right and authority to sell the timepiece and that, to the best of your knowledge, it is not stolen, subject to a lien, security interest, ownership dispute, or other third-party claim.

You agree to provide truthful and accurate information regarding the watch, including its condition, history, components, provenance, and any known modifications or repairs.

We may request additional information or documentation to verify identity, ownership, authenticity, or other aspects of a proposed transaction.

If a submitted watch cannot be authenticated, does not match the information provided, or otherwise does not satisfy our purchasing requirements, we may decline the transaction.

Product Descriptions & Condition

Information accompanying a watch is prepared to give customers a fair and useful description of that specific timepiece. We review listing information and photographs for accuracy, but minor errors or differences may occasionally occur. We make reasonable efforts to ensure that product descriptions, photographs, measurements, specifications, and other information displayed on our website are accurate and useful.

Photographs are intended to represent the watch being offered, but an image displayed electronically cannot reproduce every physical characteristic exactly. Lighting, photography, display technology, and individual screen settings can affect how details such as tone, surface finish, texture, and reflections are perceived.

Watch condition is evaluated and described using commonly recognized industry terminology and our professional judgment. Condition descriptions are intended to communicate the observed state of a particular watch and should not be interpreted as a guarantee that the timepiece will meet a customer's subjective expectations.

Any known aftermarket, replacement, modified, restored, refinished, or non-original components that we identify will be disclosed in the applicable listing when appropriate.

Returns & Refunds

Eligibility for a return is determined by the return conditions communicated for the applicable purchase, together with any consumer rights that apply by law.

Where a return is permitted, the customer may be required to obtain authorization from Heirloom Watch Co. before sending the watch back.

Returned watches must be received in the condition required by the applicable return terms. We reserve the right to evaluate a returned timepiece before issuing a refund.

A return may be refused or a refund adjusted where a watch has been altered, damaged, modified, worn beyond the permitted condition, or returned with missing components, accessories, documentation, or other items that were included with the original purchase.

Refunds, when approved, will generally be issued through the original payment method, subject to applicable payment-processing procedures.

At Heirloom Watch Co. we maintain that buyers remorse is not a reason to return a product. Returns are only considered if an item is defective or there was a mistake in shipping. We permit customers to take up to 3 business days from the receipt of the timepiece to notify us if what you ordered is not what you received. We will gladly refund your money if what you ordered is not what you received. Short of that there are no refunds, no returns, and no credits. We are a family business and simply can not afford to do that.

The size, shape, color, and model of a timepiece should all have been vetted before purchase/shipment. ALL SALES ARE FINAL, UNLESS THERE IS A MISTAKE IN SHIPPING AS DESCRIBED ABOVE.

We encourage you to go to your local Authorized Dealer or jewelry store to try on the timepieces for sizing and aesthetic. We are not able to afford trial purchases as a small, family business.

Warranty

Unless a written warranty is expressly provided with a particular timepiece, watches are sold without a separate express warranty from Heirloom Watch Co. regarding future mechanical performance, accuracy, water resistance, power reserve, or the continued operation of any particular component.

A mechanical watch is a precision instrument and may require periodic maintenance or servicing. Previously owned or vintage watches may have a service history or internal condition that cannot be determined solely through external inspection.

Nothing in these Terms is intended to exclude or limit any warranty, right, or remedy that cannot legally be excluded or limited under applicable law.

Shipping Insurance & Risk

When appropriate, Heirloom Watch Co. may arrange or require insurance for shipments involving high-value timepieces.

Customers sending watches to Heirloom Watch Co. are responsible for following our shipping instructions and using the required shipping and insurance procedures. Customers should not ship a timepiece to us using an uninsured or unauthorized method when our instructions require insured shipment.

Shipping responsibilities, insurance coverage, and risk of loss may differ depending on whether a watch is being purchased from Heirloom Watch Co. or submitted to us for authentication or purchase consideration. The applicable shipping instructions provided for the transaction will govern to the extent permitted by law.

Fraud, Unauthorized Transactions & Compliance

We take transaction security seriously. Before completing a transaction, Heirloom Watch Co. may take reasonable steps to confirm information relating to the customer, seller, payment, ownership of a timepiece, or other matters relevant to the transaction.

A transaction may be held, declined, or cancelled if circumstances reasonably warrant further investigation into possible fraud, unauthorized payment activity, identity discrepancies, ownership concerns, inaccurate information, or another material transaction-security issue.

Where appropriate, we may cooperate with financial institutions, shipping providers, insurers, law enforcement agencies, or other authorized parties concerning suspected fraud, theft, or unlawful activity.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Heirloom Watch Co. will not be responsible for indirect, incidental, special, exemplary, or consequential damages arising from or related to the use of our website, the purchase or use of a product, or a transaction conducted with us.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability relating to a particular purchase or transaction will not exceed the amount actually paid to Heirloom Watch Co. for the product or service giving rise to the claim.

Nothing in these Terms limits liability or rights that cannot legally be limited or excluded under applicable law.

Heirloom Watch Co. will not be responsible for delays or failures caused by circumstances outside our reasonable control, including natural disasters, severe weather, transportation disruptions, labor disputes, governmental actions, telecommunications or technology failures, financial-system interruptions, or other unforeseen events.

Changes to These Terms

Heirloom Watch Co. may amend these Terms when necessary to reflect changes to our business, website, services, policies, or legal obligations.

The effective date shown with these Terms will be revised when we make a material update. Subject to applicable law, use of the website after an updated version becomes effective will be governed by the revised Terms from that point forward.

Terms applicable to a completed purchase or transaction will be determined in accordance with the version of the applicable terms and any other written agreement governing that transaction.

Severability

If any provision of these Terms is determined to be invalid, unlawful, or unenforceable, that provision will be enforced to the maximum extent permitted by law, and the remaining provisions will continue in effect.

No Waiver

A failure by Heirloom Watch Co. to enforce a provision of these Terms does not constitute a waiver of our right to enforce that provision or any other provision in the future.

Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with any applicable product-specific terms, written transaction agreements, policies, and other documents expressly incorporated into them, constitute the agreement governing your use of the website and the applicable transaction, except where a separate written agreement expressly supersedes these Terms.

Governing Law & Disputes

Specific governing-law, venue, arbitration, and dispute-resolution provisions should be established based on the state in which Heirloom Watch Co. operates and the jurisdictions in which it conducts business.
